DuitNow Transfer

Introducing DuitNow Transfer, a brand new fund transfer service available on PB enterprise. With DuitNow Transfer you can send money directly to any DuitNow ID. A simple one-time registration is needed to register your Business Registration Number (BRN) as your DuitNow ID. Once that’s done, you can start receiving money via DuitNow Transfer.

Important Note

Effective 19 May 2021, ‘Instant Transfer (IBFT)’ will be known as ‘DuitNow Transfer’ on PB enterprise. Please refer to the table below for more details.

The Instant Transfer service name change to DuitNow Transfer will not affect your saved favourite accounts or pending E-Standing Instructions.

 

DuitNow ID Registration
For corporate customers, you can only register your Business Registration Number (BRN) as your DuitNow ID. Only one bank account is allowed to be registered to your DuitNow ID.

Once registered, payers can direct payments to you using your registered DuitNow ID.


Registering your DuitNow ID
Please follow the steps below:

  1. Select 'DuitNow'
  2. Look for 'DuitNow Transfer' and select 'Register DuitNow ID'
  3. Select the available DuitNow ID(s) and choose the receiving account
  4. Accept the Terms and Conditions and click 'Next' to proceed
  5. Verify the details, then click ‘Submit’ for your Approver to approve your request

 

Transferring with DuitNow Transfer via PB enterprise
Please follow the steps below:

  1. Select 'DuitNow' and then select 'DuitNow Transfer'
  2. Choose 'Transfer Mode'
  3. Select your 'From Account'
  4. Choose the 'DuitNow ID Type'
  5. Enter the 'DuitNow ID / Account No'
  6. Enter the amount and other details and click 'Add to List'
  7. If you wish to add more transactions, repeat from step (iii)
  8. Accept the Terms and Conditions and click 'Next' to proceed
  9. Verify the details, then click ‘Submit’ for your Approver to approve your request

 

Managing your DuitNow ID
Please follow the steps below:

Update DuitNow ID Status
You can enable (On) or temporarily disable (Off) your DuitNow ID from receiving funds.

    1. Select 'DuitNow'
    2. Look for 'DuitNow Transfer' and select 'Manage DuitNow'
    3. Click on edit action icon on the DuitNow ID that you wish to update
    4. Select your 'Status' on the dropdown menu to 'On' or 'Off' and click 'Next' to proceed
    5. Verify the details, then click ‘Submit’ for your Approver to approve your request

Change Receiving Bank Account / Switch Bank
Change your receiving bank account that is tied to your DuitNow ID. You can also switch your DuitNow ID receiving bank account registered at other banks to Public Bank.

    1. Select 'DuitNow'
    2. Look for 'DuitNow Transfer' and select 'Manage DuitNow'
    3. Click on edit action icon on the DuitNow ID that you wish to update
    4. Select your 'Account' on the dropdown menu and click 'Next' to proceed
    5. Verify the details, then click ‘Submit’ for your Approver to approve your request

Deregister DuitNow ID
You can deregister your DuitNow ID to stop receiving funds via DuitNow Transfer service. You need to register again if you wish to receive funds via DuitNow Transfer service.

    1. Select 'DuitNow'
    2. Look for 'DuitNow Transfer' and select 'Manage DuitNow'
    3. Click on delete action icon on the DuitNow ID that you wish to delete
    4. A pop-up message will appear, click on 'Yes' to confirm the deletion
    5. Verify the details, then click ‘Submit’ for your Approver to approve your request
