Announcement

Implementation of e-Invoicing

21 FEBRUARY 2025

Dear Valued Customers,

In support of Malaysia’s move towards a digital economy and compliance with regulatory requirements, we are pleased to announce that Public Bank Berhad (“PBB”) and Public Islamic Bank Berhad (“PIBB”) are currently in the process of preparing for the full implementation of e-Invoicing in line with the guidelines set by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (“IRBM”).

Key Details:

  • e-Invoices will be issued to customers for transactions that take place on and after 1 July 2025.
  • Customer Information Collection

To facilitate issuance of e-Invoice, we will begin collecting relevant customer details including Tax Identification Number (“TIN”), Sales and Service Tax (SST) Registration Number and other required information over the coming months.

In addition to the existing bank statement, customers who provide the required information to PBB and PIBB would have the option to receive e-Invoices for charges imposed starting from 1 July 2025. If you wish to receive the e-Invoice, please provide us the required details via PBe / PB enterprise at www.pbebank.com / www.pbenterprise.com or at any PBB / PIBB branches. The e-Invoices will be made available to you in the subsequent statement cycle following your submission on the required information.
